Randall Cooper, FACP

Specialist Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist - sub speciality knee (2008), Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists. 

Randall Cooper is the co-author of the Acute Knee Injuries Chapter of Clinical Sports Medicine (Brukner & Khan) for the past three editions. He trained in physiotherapy at La Trobe University and graduated in 1996 and went onto complete a research based Masters Degree in 2004 investigating proprioceptive rehabilitation following ACL injury and reconstruction. His supervisors were Julian Feller and Dr Nicholas Taylor.

Randall has worked with a variety of elite sporting teams including the Hawthorn Football Club, the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia and was selected as a physiotherapist on the 2006 Australian Winter Olympic Team. Randall has also been a senior practitioner and former Head of Department at the Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre in Melbourne.

Recently, Randall has been working on and implementing a return to sport testing regime following ACL reconstruction with Orthopaedic Surgeon Hayden Morris. This regime is now known as the Melbourne Return to Sports Score.
